Bio
Who is Stephanie?

Stephanie brings with her a unique combination of education, experience and innate talent when it comes to working with dogs. Trained in the behavioral sciences of both humans and the animal kingdom, she has had decades of hands’ on experience working with and understanding canine companions. Her knowledge and expertise has been complimented by her work with wild wolves as well as with rescuing and rehabilitating hundreds of displaced animal companions after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Stephanie and
her beloved Soleil,
not just one of her
canine companions
but also
a certified service &
therapy dog.

The process she uses when working with four-legged “kids” is one that is based on developing a relationship which emphasizes mutual cooperation and is not one based upon forcing your dog into submission. The end result is a loving, joy-filled relationship based upon mutual respect.

Besides her advanced degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences, she is also an Associate Member of International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), AKC Good Citizen Evaluator, a member of Therapy Dogs International as well as being an evaluator of therapy dogs. Additionally, she is delighted to be a presenter of a program she believes strongly in, Dogs & Storks, which helps new families integrate their pooches with new babies and children. A prolific workshop presenter, she is also a contributing writer to WeHo News for their Pet Section.

So, when you don’t know what to do next, call Stephanie and be assured that you will, indeed, receive peace of mind.
